1st Customer Review : The BEST Lunch Boxes/ Storage Containers!
These things were a great find at an amazing price!

1) They are not cheap silicone/ bendable plasticy lunch boxes. They are made of a tough plastic that will last you a while.

2) It is very difficult to crack/break them. I have run them through the dishwasher plenty of times without a problem. Again, this is the plastic you are looking for.

3) They truly are BPA free. This is something that is an important issue for me (probably more than most), but the package does contain the BPA-free information and the stamp is engraved to the bottom of each and every piece.

4) There is no fooling around in terms of dimensions or sizes. You get what you see in the picture- they use everyday foods in the pic so you know what you're getting. I love the 3-section rectangle lunch box because I can fit in plenty of rice and a good serving of sides.

5) They are NOT LEAKPROOF, but they are pretty darn close. I literally filled these up to the brim...

2nd Customer Review : Big Locking Bins
These are big for what the do. They are smaller in diameter at the bottom but on average are ~6.6" Diameter and 3.75" in Height. This gives you an idea of size. They lock well.
3rd Customer Review : Make sure you know what you're getting
Make sure to take a very close look at the picture... even then, you might not be able to tell that there is no air tight seal between compartments. To me, this defeats the purpose for having separate compartments... you want the food separated, and not sealing the compartments from each other will mix the flavors. Not only does it lack an air tight seal, it's a good quarter-inch between the lid and top of the separating walls. So any liquid (or small foods like raisins) easily spills over to other compartments. Kinda disappointing.....

The Microwavable Large Bacon Cooker is an extremely welcome kitchen addition for a family who rates bacon above Filet Mignon in the "favorite food" department. Bacon cooks crispy in a short amount of time and the pan cleans with ease. A paper towel over the bacon keeps the microwave neat and spatter-free. It is dishwasher safe but not necessary to waste electricity for an item that is so easy to wipe clean with a little soap & h2o and no elbow grease. Think I'll take a 3-minute break from this review and make some bacon!

1st Customer Review : Great Steamer
After searching extensively for a BPA-free steamer, I stumbled across this one made in New Zealand. Though I would have preferred a ceramic steamer, those are impossible to find in a convenient size (this would be a great business idea for someone).

The delivery was in reasonable time. There are no instructions for steaming but I found that adding about 8 ounces of water and using the vegetables option in the microwave does the trick. For those who do not have it, try steaming for about 3-4 minutes. Layer firmer vegetables in the center and softer ones on the periphery.

I portion my vegetables before putting it in the fridge and wash and steam it at mealtime. It is quick and convenient and great for people on diets (I think vegetables should be a part of any balanced meal).

I am going to order the smaller version for work and travelling.

2nd Customer Review : Great Family Steamer
Received my steamer yesterday and was very pleased; serving approximately 4 to 5 people. It can easily handle a whole head of cauliflower to give you an idea of size. The base of the steamer is like that of Rubbermaid bowls (I don't think it will easily crack if dropped on a hard surface). The vegetable colander has holes around the top rim and slits around the inside perimeter making the steaming process more efficient. There is also a spike handle inside for easy lifting of vegetable colander. After microwaving, I would make sure you push in the pressure release value located on top of the lid to avoid the steam. In addition, it has this great locking system on all four sides with lift-off tabs molded at the corners making the lid easy to remove from the base. Dishwasher safe/freezer safe/made from lead-free materials -- what could be better!
3rd Customer Review : Disappointing - Steam once, flavor forever
This does a good job of steaming vegetables, but the plastic is problematic - perhaps low quality. The first time I used the steamer, I steamed carrots. They came out perfectly. Unfortunately, the steamer absorbed the flavor of the carrots, and everything else I have steamed in it since smells and tastes vaguely like carrots. I've tried running it through the dishwasher and soaking it in vinegar, but the smell and flavor persist, and any other vegetable I put in it ends up tasting oddly like carrots. So now it's only a carrot steamer.

1st Customer Review : Love this for veggies!
I bought this at a show and loved it the first time I used it. Very easy to use. Wash the veggies, sprinkle seasonings over them and place in the microwave for a couple minutes. Let steam til desired tenderness (approx 3 minutes for me) and then serve. Fabulous every time. Easy to clean.

Also, this is great for making rice. Recommend to eveyone.

2nd Customer Review : Functional but Not Very Sturdy
Micro cooker arrived in great shape and ahead of scheduled delivery date. However, the first time I used it, one of the plastic pieces that keeps the lid secure broke off. It's a great product, but mine was not very well built.
3rd Customer Review : Works as advertised, but breaks easily
To date we have been through three Pampered Chef microwave cookers, one small and two large. All have had the lid fasteners crack and break, and finding a replacement hasn't been easy. This isn't a case of daily use over years either, I'd estimate 20-30 uses each over a year or less for each one. I like the product, it works great, but with such a short life of use, it's hard to recommend to anyone.

When this was first on TV I told my wife it sounded to good to be true. I ordered them just for kicks. Believe me, they are fantastic. Ours lasted for years. You can wipe them out for reuse. We ran out and I wrote to the company to see if they were still available. Never heard back. I then thought , I always find what I want on Amazon. Sure enough you have them. Great

I only bought these so I didn't have to grease up a pan to cook my frozen french fries and potato wedges in. You do need to grease it up a little bit so they don't stick together while they're cooking inside, but that's not a huge issue since that was part of the directions that came with the product. Would buy these again :)
