1st Customer Review : Very handy
I like this cooker a lot. I use my microwave more than my stove, usually using a silicone steamer dish. This item allows you to cook items that would normally explode in the microwave, such as eggs with unpierced yolks. It cooks as if it were in a regular oven, only faster, cooking the item from the outside in. It does tend to get hot, and could overheat your microwave if being used for several minutes. Best to let it cool off a bit between cooking different items in it. Follow all directions carefully for safety

2nd Customer Review : Best Pan Ever
I bought this for my girlfriend who is a bit shy in the kitchen. She hates always watching over the food and doesn't know when to flip something and such. With this pan you just pop it in the microwave and then flip it and then perfect food comes out. We use it mostly for chicken, and it comes out perfect and moist, even from a frozen state. It is actually my favorite way to cook chicken now. Who would have thought a microwave pan could be this great!

I ended up buying this item thru Camping World because it was on sale and returned the green one to Amazon. It is a wonderful tool for the microwave. I have cooked pork chops and chicken and steamed several vegetables. All worked wonderfully and the meat actually browned. I will be using this primarily in my motorhome when traveling.

I enjoy this innovative cookware very much in my office. I use it almost every day in a variety of ways: grilled chicken, grilled fish, garlic bread,quesadillas etc. I don't need to go out for lunch. The Microhearth Grill Pan brings a whole new dimension to microwave cooking. So many foods that previously required time-consuming, and often messy, stovetop and/or oven preparation can now be accomplished in just a few minutes thanks to this inventive new cookware. Don't know how I managed without it. Clean-up is a cinch, requiring very little effort and thus making the entire cooking experience a pleasure.

I received this item as a gift. Now I cook all meats in the microwave. Kebobs come out great. The cooker leaves grill marks. No more messy oven from broiling meats! I usually cook non seafood items for 3 minutes then I turn and decide the amount of time the item needs to finish cooking.

Easy to clean. Just wipe out, that's it.

The only improvement I would make would be to have the steam vents on the opposite end from the spot you grip the handle to lift the lid. That is a small thing compared to the convenience of the cooker.

Great addition to the kitchen for cooking for 1 or 2 people.

I have been watching this product and waiting for a review for months. Took the plunge and bought the Red colored grill. Happy so far: cooked filet mignon, tomatoes and bacon . All were delicious but without a comprehensive cookbook it is really trial and error. I will try fish today. Clean up is very easy. Read instructions - grill must not be immersed under water for cleaning

3rd Customer Review : A 'MUST HAVE' grill pan
Love, love love this grill pan! I live in Arizona and sometimes it is so hot outside that we don't want to BBQ. But I don't feel like cooking inside because it heats the house up so much. I decided to check if there was anything new in the way of microwave cooking.

I'm glad I did. I mainly bought it to grill fish and chicken but I'm very happy it does so much more. The user guide includes 18 recipes including Grilled Fish, Lemon Grilled Chicken, and Tuna Melt, Fish Tacos, Sizzlin' Steak Fajitas, etc. It also has some yummy looking deserts. I can't wait to try the Berry Good Shortcakes and the Grilled Peaches & Cream.

Tonight I reheated pizza. No more soggy leftover pizza!

It mostly makes servings for 2.

I like that is is a heavier weight and very well built. It cooks fast and cleans very easily. I love the lime green color. I'm very happy with my purchase.

1st Customer Review : Lid Came Appart
I am so happy with this item. In just a few minutes it gives food a rich blackened sear. I am just learning how to regulate it but it has been great for broiling eggplant brushed with olive oil. And today I made a grilled cheese. I think I am adding a bit too much oil which adds more char. Next I am going to try a burger. The char is delicious though especially on the eggplant when mixed with a little tahini.

I bought the red one which is very attractive and exciting especially when the dish is brought to the table, the lid lifted of and the food is sizzling and steaming. The pan is large enough to hold two burgers or two sandwiches.

Just wipe clean after use. it's a cinch.

After less than a year of wonderful service the handle on the lid has come off with the ceramic piece holding it in place on the inside crumbling. Impossible to repair. I am in disspair with no way to contact seller. Perhaps someone has a suggestion? I did nothing wrong,...

2nd Customer Review : Love the Microhearth Cookware
So impressed with the 1-1/2 qt. round pan I purchased the grill pan as well as the 2 qt. dutch oven.
Don't always plan meals in advance. By the time I'm ready to eat, too late to cook something that requires
a lot of time or thawing. The Microhearth pans to the rescue.

The grill pan as well at the Microhearth round pans will cook a frozen piece of meat, chicken or fish in no time
- just takes a few minutes longer than if not frozen. Using the Grill Pan you do get the grill lines on the food
just as if you had used a grill. Also easier to clean than my indoor electric grill.

Can make a homemade soup in the 1-1/2 qt. or 2 qt. round pans, depending upon how much I want to make, in no time
(approx.10 to 13 minutes). The house smells like I had cooked the soup all day long.
My extra thick rolled oats cooks in 6 minutes. Before had to wait for the water to boil on my stove,then cook the
oatmeal for 20 minutes - took almost...

Don't like fish or chicken that's too dry? This grill does "moist" perfectly. 7 mins. on the button cooks salmon filets that are succulent and flavorful. A little drizzle of olive oil, some spices, and a TBS or so of liquid (this is a must, for some reason, when you use this grill pan-use water, wine, whatever). I've also made grilled asparagus in the pan, which comes out perfectly, with lovely brown grill marks - tastes just like I've grilled in the oven. For wonderful home-cooked meals in a few mins., and incredibly fast, easy clean-up, this is hard to beat.
