1st Customer Review : Great Micro / Easy to Install
It seems the two things that "Consumers" rated poorly that took the overall score down were noise, and ease of use. I found that the noise comes from the fan, as this oven can be vented through the vents in your oven hood if they have external vents, but if not, it recirculates the air and does make a little bit more fan noise than the average, but not enough to be a real problem. As far as "Ease of Use... I have no idea how they could find anything difficult to use on this oven. In fact, it was easier to use than our old oven, which was pretty easy itself! It has the "fast cook" buttons (1-6) that are just one touch controls. In other words, if your meal says cook for three minutes on high, just close the door and hit "3" and you are done cooking. That seems pretty easy to me!

2nd Customer Review : Good product, but it's still early in the game....
I've been using this microwave in our rental house for several months. So far, so good. That said, it doesn't get the constant use that the one in my kitchen does.

It operates relatively quietly and was easy to install over our range. The exhaust on the microwave seems adequate to the limited cooking it has experienced so far. I thought the unit felt and looked substantial and well-made. At this point in time I would recommend this microwave for people with a limited amount of space in their kitchen.

Fast forward to January 27, 2013, Since I wrote this the interior white paint of the microwave is chipping off. It looks terrible with the chipping paint. On the other side, it still works and I gratiful I'm remodeling my kitchen and this microwave will be donated. You get what you pay for I guess...I just thought I would get some more time out of it before it started to break down

1st Customer Review : Great microwave, easy install.
I haven't had this microwave long, but have to give it five stars. It isn't as big as others, it isn't even as powerful as others, but it has tons of features, works well, and is simple to operate.

I have never given five stars before, but I can't help it, I paid $85 for this microwave, on clearance at a local retailer, and at that price there just aren't any negatives.

Really, it works great, it was dirt cheap and took about half an hour to install (mind you this is the third OTR microwave I have installed).

2nd Customer Review : Great replacement for price paid
Samsung SMH1622B Although we've only had it for a short time, it's perfect. It was an easy install once we got going, although my husband did not like how the microwave was only held up by 2 bolts which he felt needed more support as our previous over-the-range microwave. Since we use it only to reheat foods, this is perfect...I don't cook in my microwave per say, but it works great. I do wish the light under the microwave was brighter but works great as a night light. The blue light that displays the numbers could have been a different color as they are hard to read from a distance (according to my husband). But all in all, the Samsung SMH1622B over the range microwave is a perfect fit for people who reheat foods and want something simple and basic. We did purchase ours elsewhere but came to Amazon.com for reviews.
