1st Customer Review : It's great once you adjust your times.
First I tried Salmon and asparagus and it came out nasty and dried out. But that is because I followed the directions. You almost have to experiment with lower power setting on your microwave. That's when this product proves it's greatness. The second time I tried Talapia at 4 and 1/2 minutes on power level 4. The steam cooks it fast, so you can now use this thing at the normal microwave temperature. Once you experiment and get the time and temp right, this thing can be great. The talipia came out moist and tasty, due to seasoning it.

2nd Customer Review : Best flavored steamed vegetables I've ever had!
I used to steam vegetables in a steamer pan on the stove until I burned it dry too many times. When I tried this steamer, I had to get used to how little cooking time each item required. Once I adjusted to that, I started enjoying the best tasting steamed vegetables I've ever eaten! I have tried potatoes, asparagus, brocholi, peas and the small gourmet carrots. All turned out terrific. You just have to be sure to have 2 tablespoons of water in the bottom reservoir and don't cook it too long!

This steamer has become one of the most-used gadgets in my kitchen. While I have not tried anything too fancy, I use it almost on a daily basis. While packing lunches in the morning for the DD and DH, I fill this baby up with broccoli, carrots, squash, etc and place a couple of tablespoons of water in the bottom. After microwaving on high for 2 minutes, I let it sit and continue to steam a 2-5 more minutes. Voila! The result: A quick and easy addition to a healthy lunch with minimal effort. I give it five stars for making eating good so EASY!

I bought this to use with my 12in pizza pan when I bake cookies and other things on it. Works great. Very easy to clean and nothing sticks. Product is very thin but as long as you are careful not to use a knife on it it will hold up well.

2nd Customer Review : Fits My Sharp Grill 2 Convection Perfectly
Fits in the turntable pan of my Sharp R-820 that I ordered from Amazon perfectly. I did expect it to be a little thicker, but that has not seemed to affect its performance. Makes spills and cooked on food easy to clean.
3rd Customer Review : It is OK but not great
It does keep the glass clean. It is easier to clean than the glass. But, it puzzles me as to why this mat will not lie flat without buckling. It's probably because it is so thin. If it would annoy you like it does me that it will not lie flat then I would look elseware.

1st Customer Review : Super!
This sandwich maker works great! I use precooked bacon from Costco, and two sandwiches are ready in less than 3 minutes. Everyone is happy. I only wish they'd make a 4-egg one so the whole family could eat at once. You can put cheese on top of the eggs as they cook so it's nicely melted. This pan does take a little bit of attention to clean, but nothing too strenuous. Spray the egg cups and lifters with Pam first and the leftover egg comes off very easily. And a piece of paper towel would keep the bacon from making such a mess. I recommend this to all fans of breakfast.

2nd Customer Review : Works well, but cleanup is difficult
I like the results, but cleanup is a pain. Bacon tray gets burned bacon grease on the bottom and requires good scrubbing with a stiff brush. The egg "picker upper" plastic pieces get egg white cooked onto the bottom of them and must be scraped off with a knife or other edge when cleaning.

Does well in the cooking department, but cleaning afterward is NOT FUN.
3rd Customer Review : Great breakfast, great fun, great gift
I bought one at Target on an impulse because I was hungry for an egg mcmuffin but don't trust McDonald's.

I just tried it and liked it so much I ordered two more here for gifts.

It makes two. One egg, one lean piece of Canadian Bacon and one English Muffin with no butter or grease and I think it qualifies as healthy! The best Canadian Bacon for this comes from Costco. Have fun.

The Progressive International MicrowaveFood Cover & Colander,Clear is one such product. It is large enough in circumference and height to accomodate most dinner plates. Flip the cover over and use it as a colander. It cleans easily with lukewarm water and mild dishwasher soap. Unlike other covers I've owned it does not stain from food splashes. Since this microwave food cover is higher in height than most covers one thing to consider before buying is the inside height of your microwave oven (Product Measures: 10.5x10.5x5.75 inches).

Finally, a cover that's high enough to not touch the food while heated in the microwave! Love it!!! it's big enough to cover a large plate. I just heated up a whole Cornish hen, and this cover did not touch the hen.
I do suspect it might not fit a small microwave though, so would advice to go over measurements before purchasing. I also used it as a colander, but mainly bought it to use as a microwave cover.

1st Customer Review : Handy corn steamer
I purchased and used this recently for the first time, and I really like the product. It does an excellent job at steaming small to medium size ears of corn. It does it by really locking in the steam tightly. No water needed and the corn isn't watery, as it sometimes can be when cooked in a kettle on the stove.

I didn't have large ears of corn, so I didn't have a problem with that, though I can see where that might be an issue. A slightly larger version of this would be good and take care of that problem.

No instructions were given on the packaging as to cooking time, but I found in my microwave that six minutes was right. Since microwaves vary, you have to experiment there. This could be used to cook/reheat other things, too. I really like the results I got and recommend the product.

2nd Customer Review : Quick and PERFECT results in home and office.
Great item for the summer corn season, and so easy to use. One ear takes about 4-5 minutes, two take about 7-10 minutes. You put 1/4 cup of water in each chamber, and it steams perfectly.

The lid does NOT snap on, as some expect, but fits on the top of the chamber. The corn will be hot, and perfectly cooked. Kind of fun to have this at the office too- very handy.

Of course, you could steam anything in this, but it is designed for corn. As for size, it has worked well so far. If one were to have extra large ears of corn, I think it would still work, though you might adjust the cooking time up a bit. Best for medium-large ears, I think.

Perfect for singles, college age, and seniors - who wants to fool with a pot, boiling water, salt, draining and clean-up, when THIS is an option?

This is a great product and I have two and will be ordering more for envious friends. Boiling water to cook that fresh corn on the cob is time consuming and water wasteful and this corn steamer is so easy. Add the fresh corn on the cob a little water steam in the microware for a couple of minutes and there you have it. EASY, FAST and GOOD can't get any better than that.

1st Customer Review : Potato Cooker just why?
Like most people who have used a microwave, I've experienced food products exploding. Sometimes potatoes do this even with the recommended slitting of the spud and Progressive puts the lid on this problem quite literally with their potato cooker.

The bottom of the dish is not the same as using a typical plate because of raised half-inch plastic spikes along the bottom. These support the spud during the nuking process and avoids the "hot spot" on the bottom so common in using a regular plate for the microwave. This helps the tuber cook more evenly which makes for fewer explosions, a tastier spud consumption experience and easier cleanup.

The lid, apart from preventing a mess in the microwave, works in tandem with the raised bottom spikes to contain the inevitable steam which happen whenever a kilowatt of microwaves are hitting a veggie, while letting the food steam a bit in its own juices. Nobody likes a steamy microwave from a dried out veggie, and this product...

2nd Customer Review : Potatos and more
I had one of these when I was married and lost it with the rest of my stuff. As soon as I got my microwave, I ordered this cooker. Have never found them in the store. I cook nearly every veggie in it. Corn on the cobb, squash, frozen vegs and more. This is the most used tool in my kitchen. When you wash the veggie leave the water on and it will cook perfectly. You will have to experiment a little to get the timing down... usually its 1 or 2 minutes for fresh stuff. Get it, you'll love it.

I have purchased several microwave cooking products by Progressive recently. Like the others, the potato cooker works well, though I have only used it to cook sweet potatoes. Following the directions and perforating the potatoes, and cooking on high in two minute intervals until they are soft is all that is required... and it should be much more healthy as there are no additives and no lost vitamins or minerals due to steaming...
