This light fit my microwave and lit up exactly like it's supposed to. Screwing it into the socket was so easy that I didn't even need instructions. It's like I done it a thousand times before already. Once it was lit, I could see the stove underneath my microwave. Absolutely amazing.

1st Customer Review : It fits, that's all that matters.
Description says 5-1/8" x 5-3/8" but it's actually 5" x 5-3/8". Fits my Maytag over-the-stove microwave and should also fit Kitchenaid or Whirlpool because it's all the same parent company. I noticed some Whirlpool models say the size should be 5-1/8" and Maytag says 5", but it doesn't matter because the filter slot in the microwave will accommodate either size.

1st Customer Review : Great microwave so far
This was just delivered last week, but so far, so good. It was delivered in only three business days and arrived in good condition. The microwave works well and is very quiet. It's a nice size, not too big, not too small. It's easy to use and program and the white color goes well in my kitchen. Also, the light goes on not only when the microwave is running, but when you open the door. On many other microwaves, the light goes on only when it's running, which doesn't make any sense. I would recommend this microwave to anyone who needs to purchase a new one.

2nd Customer Review : Let There be Light!!
You can't buy this beauty at your local dept. store or the orange/blue box store. I wasted gas visiting all the stores and they only have overstock microwaves that have bad or mediocre reviews. I think they're just trying to off load their excess inventory on customers who need a microwave that day. But if you have a little patience and can wait, then I'd suggest ordering a microwave online where you can read the reviews and get a good price in your pajamas while sipping a good wine.

Forget calling the orange box store, because I think the employees are told not to answer the phone. This ploy makes you drive to their store where your more likely to break open your wallet to buy something. There were employees sitting at desks talking to each other or just standing around when I visited, so I don't buy the excuse that they are all too busy with customers to answer the phone. The orange box store won't post my review on their web site after I commented on their employees...

Just got this yesterday. Used it several times with satisfying results.

Note: The five stars are for the oven. I find product ratings based on seller service are useless when I'm trying to decide whether to buy something. I'd like to comment that, in the case of Abt, the service was excellent. Despite the free shipping for this large, heavy box, the oven arrived satisfyingly quickly. The outer box was impeccable, and the inside was well padded. Abt's return policy is also fair.

2nd Customer Review : Exactly what I wanted
After installing a new double oven to replace a single with a microwave combo I was left in need of a countertop microwave. It had to be small so as not to take up counterspace and I needed blue display lights to match all of my other appliances' light displays (things like that annoy me). Black or silver...all my appliances are stainless and my granite is black. This is perfect. Fits in the corner and easy to use. Looks like an odd little tv...which I like since I like quirky looking things that do their job. I boght several other microwaves these past few weeks- pure stainless...blck...larger...even the nostalgia retro one...all went back...this one is perfect. I don't do major cooking in a microwave and if takes a few seconds longer, well, it really does not matter as we are all in too big of a rush anyway:)

The only thing that would be nice would be a numeric keypad, but there really isn't space given the compact design.

2nd Customer Review : working good in GE overhead microwave
Filter seems to be working well. It has much smaller openings in it than the filter that came with the microwave, so I'm expecting it to clog up sooner. But that should also mean that it's doing more filtering. The filter fit perfectly in our GE overhead microwave.
Price seems a bit high for what it is, but its the best price I found.

1st Customer Review : Crisper pan
The item works as described. Nice for crisping up the left over pizza. I even cooked eggs on it. The pan absorbs the microwaves and cooks food from the hot pan bottom. Most the microwaves are going into the pan and not necessarily the food. So it cooks like a fry pan in that way. You do have to place it in the microwave for at least 3 minutes before you can use it. It is a little pricey, but is solid and works.

2nd Customer Review : Works good for frozen hamburgers
We fry mostly frozen hamburger patties using this crisper pan and it works very good. We're using it in a medium size LG microwave and have not noticed any smell coming from the pan, but we did wash it once before using. Takes 3 minutes to pre-heat pan at 100% power then another 4 minutes to fry the burgers, turning once. We had an older Whirlpool microwave that came with this pan type (then called a Sizzler) that we loved and used for years.

This was recommended to me by one of our relatives and I just love it. It is wonderful for cooking turkey bacon in the microwave since it gets crispy. I am looking forward to doing more things with as I get the chance especially frozen fries and pizza.

1st Customer Review : Very good for the price, with some reservations
I purchased and installed the WMH31017AB, the black version of this microwave. Pros: a major consumer magazine rates Whirlpool tops in reliability. At its price this is, as expected, a pretty basic microwave, but fulfills our needs. It heats well, is (in black) quite attractive, the microwave and fan are quiet, controls are convenient for basic operations. Cons: one of the installation templates is printed on the cardboard packaging, the edges of which shred when cut, making the template difficult to use accurately. The bolts supplied will not work in a deep cabinet and it took trips to four hardware stores to find longer replacements. The instructions did not include an option to hardwire the electrical connection, so I had to swallow hard and cut the cord without knowing what I'd find once I had (turned out not to be a problem). I exhausted through the wall, but there's an outlet for internal exhaust, and it opens upwards towards the ceiling. And I mean OPENS. There's no grid to...
