1st Customer Review : Tricky repair, but worked
If your microwave is like mine, a Frigidaire (Electrolux) FMV156DCC, it will have three of these sensors. It will not be immediately obvious which sensor has stopped working. So it took some time to replace each sensor, re-assemble the front panel, test it, then repeat until I found the broken sensor. But it did work and I was glad to be able to fix this easily without calling in a repair person. Note that it is possible to do this repair without taking the microwave down off the wall. You only have to remove and disconnect the front panel containing the display and buttons. You may also have to remove the white plastic guide next to it, where the sensors actually connect. Move slowly, be patient, unplug the microwave before you start working, and don't touch anything other than the sensors or the instrument panel, and you will be fine.
