1st Customer Review : I LOVE IT!!
I bought mine from CVS, and I tried it today. I live alone, and HATE to cook, but I love spaghetti. When my husband was alive, I made it often. It was too much trouble to make it just for myself.
I measured out two servings, and cooked it 13 minutes in the microwave.
The pasta came out perfect. I would highly recommend this.

2nd Customer Review : It works fine for me
After reading online all the horror stories from people who tried to order the Pasta Boat from a TV ad and were not told of the silly outragious shipping charges till AFTER they placed the order. I went here to Amazon and got it with normal Fedex charges alittle over $3.00. It came yesterday and I tried it today with no complaints. I did stop the micro a minute short of the full time suggested just to check and it was more than enough. I made 2 servings.
3rd Customer Review : Best Kitchen Gadget/Microwave Cooker You'll Own!
Before I buy anything priced much over $1 (!), I read as many Amazon reviews on it as I can. Because of a few negative reviews for factors that seemed important to me, I almost didn't order it. What a mistake that would have been! I really, really like this item. Although I've only used it to cook pasta thus far, you can steam all sorts of vegetables in it according to the brief cookbook that comes with it, using the included steamer rack. I hate vegetables, so I've never tried it. So my comments apply only to pasta. And after all, this is a pasta boat, and not a vegetable boat. The pasta comes out perfectly; I'd thought this was an item that would take some experimenting to get it right. After all, who ever heard of cooking pasta in a microwave? Following the excellent instructions in the cookbook, it worked well the very first time I tried it. And I'm as lousy and lazy a cook as they come. And I hate cooking in the first place. Which is why I love the pasta boat so much. Why? 1...
