1st Customer Review : Really like the texture of food nuked in the bag!
These are the first products that I've tried for microwave browning. So far, we've cooked hash brown patties and hot dogs. I must say that I do like the texture of these foods much better when nuked inside the bag. Looking forward to trying popcorn and then fish fillets next.
Basically, the bags have a very thin metal film inside, which produces a much higher temperature where it is in contact with the food. The higher temperature is in the 350-400 degree neighborhood, similar to a traditional oven, rather than the 212 degree neighborhood normally produced in microwave cooking. This produces a crispier and browner outside on the food.
Unlike the disposable packaging that comes with products like hot pockets, these bags are reusable. From what I've read, I understand that the disposable packaging loses performance after a single use.
We've used just one of the small bags for most of a week now, for both the potato patties and the hot dogs. That would...

These bags are wonderful for frozen french fries, frozen fish, etc. I keep a lot of frozen foods at work for my lunches. These bags work great for all kinds of foods. I use them at home also. I do not re use the bags.

If you like bacon and don't like to fry it, you will love these. Just put it in, fold the top up a little, cook about 4 minutes, poor off grease and take out crisp bacon. Also, you can put the bag in a ziplock in the freezer between uses and use it several times. So glad I found them on Amazon.
