1st Customer Review : Best of the Bunch Glass Storage Containers
Like many people these days I was looking to replace my old, barely-functioning plastic storage containers and upgrade to glass for health reasons. In my quest for the best product I bought and ultimately returned Snapware Glasslock, Kinetic Glasslock, and Anchor Hocking TrueSeal. The Anchor Hocking TrueSeal leaked like a sieve so that was an immediate no. The Snapware Glasslock and Kinetic Glasslock both were leakproof, but I decided against them because I like the look of Pyrex No Leak better, and it has additional benefits such as a microwaveable lid and oven proof glass.
What I love about Pyrex No Leak: First and foremost it is 100% leakproof. I was a little worried about buying Pyrex because their Basic Glass Containers (blue lids) and Glass Lids Containers (red lids) are definitely not leakproof. This is a durable dish that's perfect for packing soup or chili in for lunch. The lid and microwave vent both seal very securely so you don't have to worry about leaking. LOVE IT!
3rd Customer Review : Excellent seal!
The Pyrex name and glass composition were the reasons for purchasing this baking/storage dish. After using this bowl for awhile we've come to appreciate its no-leak seal. The cover seals tight, but is easy enough to remove and put back on. It also has a steam release vent in the lid for microwave cooking. Haven't tried that because we've no microwave oven, but it looks to be designed well.
