1st Customer Review : Gorgeous, Solid Bowls but Not Really 'Non-Skid'
I've used these bowls several times now and these are my observations so far--
The Positive:
-The Bowls are gorgeous. They are definitely the most attractive mixing bowls I've ever purchased. They are brightly colored outside and white inside. Not sure how the white coating was put in but it doesn't show scratches at all. A+ for appearance definitely.
- Microwaveable!
- Good, useful sizes
- The bowls are plastic, but they are very sturdy feeling and the plastic is thick. It also has a nice handle and spout for pouring.
The problems:
-- The biggest problem for me is that it's not that 'non-skid'. I've had mixing bowls that have some sort of suction on the bottom so that when you're mixing it's stuck on the counter very firmly. These have non-skid patches on the bottom so they're not sliding all over the place like say a glass bowl. But it doesn't have the heavy-duty non-skid that I was looking for. I recommend because the bowls are pretty and have a grippy base. They nest perfectly and take up minimal space. Microwave and dishwasher safe colorful bowls are hard to find. 4 stars for design because there us no lid.
3rd Customer Review : great product!
These bowls come in bright colors which make my bland kitchen look a little more lively. They have non-skid patches on the bottom, one for setting the bowl flat on the counter and another patch to keep it from sliding around when it's tilted to make for easy mixing. The pour spout is also handy as is the wide handle on one end. The big bowl could be too small for those looking to make recipes with large volumes, but it's perfect for my everyday use. I even used the biggest one as a produce bowl on my counter! I would definitely recommended these.
