These are great. I make a week's worth of meals, put them in the divided plate, cover it and freeze the whole batch. Because these are free of toxins, I can take the containers straight from the freezer to the microwave without worrying about any out-gassing. I'm very pleased with them.

2nd Customer Review : Would buy again
Nice size containers. Has 3 sections. The two smaller sections hold 1 cup each. The larger section holds 2 cups. The seal of the lid is what I would call "firm" and snaps on but it's not leakproof. I don't plan on carrying soup in it anyway. The lid is slightly raised (1/4 inch) for a little extra room. The colors are nice and they are clear enough you can see what's inside. I use a papertowel in the microwave because lid wants to bend somewhat but does go back to normal easily. I also use top tray in dishwasher..probably should not use heat but I do. I've had them for two weeks and seem fine for me. I would reorder if needed. I also have put in freezer for the week and they did fine. I love that there were 4 because I fix my lunch for all week on Sunday. Grab and go from the freezer each morning.

I bought these plates for my husband and myself to use for our lunches at work. The compartments give plenty of room and the the plate heats up nice. I would not recommend heating with the lid. We ended up warping two beyond repair and made unusable. I contacted the seller and told them of the problem and they were quick with replacements. Very good customer service!

2nd Customer Review : High Quality, Excellently Designed, Sooooo Handy & Functional, BPA DEBATE SETTLED!
I've owned these for about 6 months now so here's my Rubbermaid EasyFind containers 101 class:
~ Environmental considerations: I really like how these have helped me eliminate almost all use of 1-use plastic bags, tin foil, etc. and both the containers and lids are durable enough that they'll last for countless years.
~ UPDATE TO CLARIFY & SETTLE THE BPA DEBATE: Although independent labratory tests for Good Housekeeping found that the 'container portion' of these DO actually contain ''LOW LEVELS'' of BPA's, the report also explains that BPA's only transfer to foods durring cooking (like microwaving) AND the tests AFTER cooking in these concluded ''No detectable BPA or phthalates migrated from the products (containers)...'', AND ''...the chemicals did not leach into food during microwave heating''. Personally, I like so many things about these containers that if I had any remaining concerns about BPA's, I'd just transfer the food from the container to a plate or bowl before...
3rd Customer Review : Many Unusable Sizes
The actual functionality of the food storage containers is great. The snap lids are a really nice feature. However there are a couple issues not relating to the functionality but specifically this set. First, why doesn't this product just say 25 containers rather than 50 pieces. It seems like it can be deceptive for the hasty purchaser. That of course applies to all their container sets. My main issue is with the number unusable sizes in this package. Why does there need to be 6 of the condiment size containers (0.5 cup) I am guessing most people will not use this size... much less 6 of them at one time. The 1.25 cup size is almost just as unusable. It is not quite large enough to fit a lunch or any meal for the average person and again there are 6 of them! The containers most people would use the most are in quantities of 3. Why not 6? How about 2 of the tiny, 2 or 3 of the small, and 5 or 6 more of the decent sizes? Someone might be better off buying the smaller starter sets and...

2nd Customer Review : Fun bowls that can go in microwave
I do a lot of cooking photography on my blog and really wanted to find some colored bowls that would be interesting to look at. I bought a set of these several months ago and have been completely happy. I tend to avoid ceramic bowls because they are so heavy and eventually break because they're dropped on my tile floor. I was hoping for plastic but it's been hard to find anything other than melamine WHICH I HATE. Melamine can't go in the microwave (a total pain!) and is difficult to get clean without a lot of elbow grease. These bowls are listed as melamine but I don't think they are. I have used mine in the MW and they are great. They clean up beautifully and are not heavy at all. Some people might consider them a smidge flimsy but I like them. Who says heavier=better? The nice shiny finish gives these bowls the appearance of porcelain or ceramic in photos, so it's a win-win for me.

I see another reviewer mentioned the lids don't stay on. I thought so, too, at first. Then I realised I had to go around the edge pressing firmly until I hear it pop into place. Once I did that, I was able to pick a full bowl up just by the tab on the the lid and that sucker didn't budge. Good and tight! 1st Customer Review : Plastic plate cover
Works as advertised. What more can be said? It hasn't warped in the microwave nor the dishwasher. The only thing I can say is that it arrived with a slight crack, and was very poorly packaged for shipment. That said, I could care less as the hunk of plastic stays in the microwave even when not in use. It does it's job: it keeps the foods from splattering all over the microwave itself and contains whatever messes may take place to the glass tray in the microwave.

I purchased a new microwave and needed a microwave plate cover. I ordered this Plate cover and I'm very happy with my choice. It fit's my microwave perfect (make sure you find out the size of your turn table in your microwave, so your plate cover is not bigger than your turn table). My only problem with this purchase is that I just seen the same microwave plate cover in the 99 cent store the other day for $2 and I paid $5.

1st Customer Review : Dangerous, glass chipped off sliced & my finger.
Update: Feb. 2013

Since I have made the comment below, I have decided to keep them for a while and cautiously check for more chips. I think the reality is that they are made of glass which has its nature property of breaking much easier than plastic containers. The tradeoff, however, is that glass would not emit plastic chemicals to our food. I also have Pyrex glass containers and eventually one of them chipped as well and I also got a cut from when I was trying to wipe it dry.

I know it sound obvious that glass is not like plastic containers, but I'm since most of us are use to Tupperware and Rubbermaid containers, we probably got use to treating the glassware the same way.

Anyway, the containers work well overall (other than a few bandaids needed). They seal well so I can take my soup to work without the fear of spill in the commute.

This is a nice set of tempered glass containers with plastic snap lids. 20 piece means 10 containers and 10 lids. Here's the rundown

What You Get:

2 small rectangular 1 1/2 cup containers
1 medium rectangular 3 1/2 cup container
2 small square 1 1/2 cup containers
1 large square 6 cup
1 medium 3 1/3 square cup

3rd Customer Review : Dishwasher Safe?
I assumed "dishwasher safe" meant that this product was safe to put in the dishwasher. However, some of the lid clips warped even on the top rack and will no longer snap around the glass containers. Also, a couple of the containers are a little too small to be useful even for someone who lives alone. I wanted to like this product much more than I do.

1st Customer Review : Handy for single people
I've had these plates for about 1 month. I've used them to dish leftovers into & dish frozen vegetables, preparing meals. I like to cook a large amount and have leftovers to reheat. I just decided to put them through the real test. Slow cooked a great roast with plenty of potatoes, carrots & onions. I have dished these items into the plates and put them in the freezer to eat when I want them. This makes cooking much more fun. Cooking for 1 wasn't fun & I had gotten into the habit of buying a lot of TV dinners. Now I'm back to buying groceries the way I used to when I had family at home to cook for. I can cook good, complete meals when I feel like cooking & grab single servings when I don't feel like cooking.

These plates need to be washed before first use, so I put them in the dishwasher with the heat cycle turned off. That destroyed all the lids; they are warped beyond use. A piece of paper that came with the plates said they were dishwasher safe; they are not. This is a low quality product made in China. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I like the vented lids, but the product itself is of poor quality. After using the dish twice in the microwave and storing it in the refrigerator, it is showing signs of damage, i.e,. food burned into the plastic. The food I had was sliced turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy over all. I have a high tech microwave and cooked it on a low reheat setting, so the damage should not have occurred. They will not hold up for long, I can tell.
Also, if they were a little deeper it would be better.

Next time I will splurge and buy the Tupperware -- pricy but they do hold up.
